HOPE IN ACTION'S GOALS IN BARAHONA
PHASE I
EDUCATION

The foundation of any project starts with education.
​
Hope in Action will be providing free spiritual and basic education to the community in Barahona to help them stand on their feet and advance in all areas of their lives.
​
Topics such as: nutrition, agriculture, small business, and illness prevention will be part of the curriculum. The classes will be provided by experts in each field.
​
PHASE II
SUPPORT GROUPS
​
The best way to help transform people's lives is by providing support.
​
Hope in Action will organize diverse support groups to help the community in different aspects that are oppressing them, such as: alcoholism, domestic violence, hunger, abandonment, health and more.
These groups will be managed by professionals in each field.
​
PHASE III
BUILD A COMMUNITY
​
Working together forms a community.
​
We have a list of projects as well as skilled labor standing by and a community eagerly looking forward to housing, power and clean water.
​
In this phase we will be not only building homes, but we will be working on: community beautification, planting community gardens to provide food, and parks for the children to play among other initiatives.
​
